Community
Starting here, at home.
Fruzio was founded in Nelson in 2005, and for over 20 years we’ve been feeding and fuelling Kiwis, helping to make healthy choices easy, accessible, and genuinely delicious.
But our story goes back even further. The Glover family, founders of Fruzio, planted the very first raspberry crop in the Tasman region back in the 1930s. So you could say fruit and veg are kind of our thing.
As a New Zealand owned and operated business with deep roots in Nelson and across Aotearoa, supporting our communities has always been core to who we are.
Backing community and healthy living
We’re proud to champion both community connection and active, healthy lifestyles. Fruzio supports organisations including KiwiHarvest, Foodprint, and a range of local community events and initiatives.
We also proudly support organisations such as Brook Waimārama Sanctuary, Bess Up Top, and a number of Nelson–Tasman community groups.
Fueling athletes across Aotearoa
From grassroots clubs to elite competitors, we back athletes who inspire healthy living, on and off the field.
Fruzio-supported teams and organisations include:
Auckland FC - Nelson Giants Basketball - Nelson Suburbs FC - Waitakere Magpies AFL - Tasman Swim Club
Local team fundraisers and community sporting events across New Zealand
Independent athletes we proudly support:
Ollie Ferguson — Ironman
Hannah Mcleish — HYROX
Abby Stevens — HYROX
Wherever Kiwis are moving, training, competing or just living well, we’re proud to be there, helping fuel the journey.
