Berry Smoothie Bowl
Makes: 1
Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 large banana
1/2 cup Fruzio Mixed Berries
1 serving of Vanilla protein powder (optional)
1/4 cup milk of your choice
Topping ideas:
Granola
Chia seeds
Coconut flakes
Fruit
Nut butter
Yogurt
Runny honey or your choice of syrup
Method:
Add all smoothie ingredients into a blender with a dash of milk, better to start with
less liquid. Blend until thick and creamy, add more liquid if needed.
Tip: leave the frozen fruit to thaw in the blender for 10 minutes before blending to make it easier
to blend.
Transfer to into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings.
Summer chia and oat breakfast pot
Serves: 4
Prep time: 15 minutes
Set time: overnight
Chia and overnight oats
1/2 cup chia seeds
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups of your choice of milk
1/2 cup of your choice of yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: add cinnamon, or your favourite spice
Method:
Add all ingredients into a large container that has a lid. Mix together and put the lid
on and store in the fridge overnight.
Berry chia jam
3 cups Fruzio Mixed Berries
1 small lemon, juiced
3 tbsp chia seeds
3 tbsp maple syrup (or to taste)
Method:
Add all ingredients into a pot. Heat on low until berries have defrosted. Use a fork
to mash the berries. Remove from heat to cool down. Once cooled, store in a jar
and in the fridge.
Assemble:
The next day, layer the overnight oats and berry chia jam into jars or glasses. Top
with your favourite toppings. Store in the fridge or eat straight away.
